We offer 3D modeling as an enhancement to all of our design services. There are many uses and benefits of creating a 3D model of the project. It literally brings the project to life for the owner, who can then visually evaluate the design and make more informed design changes.
Buildings and structures can be modeled with both interior and exterior finishes, facades and materials. Piping, conduits, ventilation and equipment can be modeled to insure there are no conflicts in routing and there is adequate access space for equipment. These models also assist the contractor in coordinating and scheduling building construction and determining sequences of installation.
Site models can be created showing the routing, layout and location of both surface and below grade features. These models can be used for conflict analysis, determining ideal views and locations of roads, buildings and out structures.
For larger facilities the 3D models can be effectively and efficiently used in facility maintenance and operations programs, control systems and in training materials. These models can be used as blue prints for maintenance personnel when tracing problems, maintaining, repairing or upgrading equipment.
From any of the 3D models, animations can be created showing either a walk or fly through of the project. They can also be used to create panoramic views. These animations and panoramic views can be used in promotional, investment and training materials.
At Action we have the talent and abilities to create 3D Models and animations using several Autodesk products including Civil 3D, Inventor, Maya, Revit.and Navisworks. With these programs virtually any 3D model and animation can be created from complete site development with detailed structures to individual models of equipment and interior components. And then they can be integrated with Navisworks for complex BIM modeling and clash analysis.
